Services at Big Apple Acupuncture

Traditional Chinese Medicine

I have been a full time practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine for eight years with an emphasis on pain management . Services include acupuncture, Chinese herbal formulas perscription, Tui Na manual manipulation, and fire cupping as part of the main treatment protocols.  All of our treatment rooms are private and sessions run for an hour. My practice is directly across from New York bone and joint hospital and adjacent to Beth Israel hospital. We are on a medical sublevel that services about 100 medical doctors. It is a pleasure working along other medical professionals.

I am trained in Tui Na or better known as Chinese physiotherapy and have taught this art in acupuncture school. My acupuncture education focuses on  Zang Fu diagnosis and acupuncture merdian theory.

Specialties:

1.  Musculoskeletal Injuries –  I treat many complaints involving pain and have had good success in completely eliminating the problem for good.  You may review my LinkedIn profile to see the many conditions I have had success with in the past using the services included as part of Traditional Chinese medicine.  http://www.yinyangusa.com/acupuncture-for-back-pain.html

2. Migraines and Fibromylagia –  These two problems are very common in New York City. I believed they deserved more of my attention and services as many of my patients were already coming to see me for other things and had these conditions as well. There were not aware that Traditional Chinese medicine could effectively treat these disorders as well.   http://www.yinyangusa.com/acupuncture-for-migraines.html      http://www.yinyangusa.com/acupuncture-for-fibromyalgia.html
